Plant based ingredients, isomalt and erythritol, have some the lowest glycemic response of any non-caloric sweetener available. This allows Zollipops to be Keto, diabetic friendly and vegan.

Isomalt works like dietary fiber. Like the dietary fiber in green beans, onions and various types of fruit, ISOMALT belongs to a group known as ‘low digestible carbohydrates’. These low-digestible carbohydrates help keep us regular and can help to stimulate bowel activity and aid regularity. Like with e.g. plums, excessive consumption may have a laxative effect. Just as high-fiber foods, the regular consumption of ISOMALT in moderate amounts is tolerated very well and helps maintaining the balance of the digestive system. Zollipops do not contain xylitol.  The original Zollipops formulation contained a small amount of xylitol, however, was always primarily composed of isomalt and a very small amount of erythritol. 

We heard from many customers over concerns about the potential contraindications (gastric issues) from xylitol and the fact that xylitol is toxic to dogs, of which many customers were concerned about having the item in their homes.  In the interest of making the best products, we conducted clinical trials with a leading pediatric dentistry university in the U.S.  The studies were funded by the NIH – National Institute of Health.

In clinical studies of Zollipops with isomalt and a very small amount of erythritol (<0.1 grams of Erythritol/pop), total bacteria and cavity-causing bacteria in the mouth were reduced and there were no contraindications, or tummy troubles. 

Zollipops today contain isomalt and a small amount of erythritol, both tooth-friendly, vegan, Non-GMO ingredients, and do not contain xylitol.

Zollipops naturally work with the body to help raise the pH and reduce acidity in the mouth.  This takes away the energy for the bacteria that can cause caries, this also allows teeth to re-mineralize and get stronger faster.

Although this may be surprising, it’s true! We recommend you brush your teeth at least twice a day. However, if you brush too soon after a meal you can scrub away tooth enamel that becomes softer in the acidic environment created in your mouth when you eat.

Brushing too much, too hard, or with a hard-bristle brush can also erode your enamel. Absolutely! We contribute Zollipops to schools and Special Olympics in our community, and across the country. We commit 10% of all profits and One Million Zollipops to support oral health education in schools through our One Million Smiles Initiative. We also contribute to Whole Kids Foundation through sales at Whole Foods Markets and other groups by sales to retailers and dentists. If you have a charitable event and would like a Zollipops donation, please reach out to us. While we can’t support every event, we always try our best.

We now offer Zolli Ball Popz, your favorite Zolli flavors in a ball shaped lollipop. We also are thrilled to add Zolli Gum Popz to our lineup. Please remember Zollipops are not recommended for children three or under, and consumption should always be under adult supervision.

Sweet treats can sometimes get sticky, and our original formula became sticky when not stored properly. However, our new and improved formula solved that problem and Zollipops are more stable and even more delicious with longer lasting flavor! We think our new formula and process may qualify our treats as the most technically advanced sugar free treat in the world!

Why yes, they do! Zollipops are 100 times cooler than chewing gum and better for you, too. Several celebrities, and their families have recently been spotted enjoying Zollipops!

If you suspect that your pet has eaten a Zolli Candy (some of which contains xylitol), please contact your veterinarian or Poison Control Helpline (800-222-1222) immediately, as they can properly ascertain if your pet is in any danger.

Do not induce vomiting or give anything orally to your dog unless specifically directed to do so by your veterinarian. It is important to get treatment for your dog quickly, as some dogs may already be hypoglycemic, and inducing vomiting can make them worse.

Along with many foods that should not be given to dogs (alcohol, avocado, caffeine, chocolate, chives, dairy products, garlic, grapes, hops, human medications and vitamins, macadamia nuts, onions, raisins, sugar, tobacco), Zolli Candy is intended for humans and should not be given to dogs or other animals.

Sticky is icky when it comes to hitting the floor! In fact, the five-second rule does not apply to any food dropped on the ground. If it falls on the ground, put it in the garbage!
